Elizabeth Lowder MSW, LCSW, CDWF
Elizabeth founded Sage Tree Therapy, LLC in 2012 to focus on working with new moms affected by birth and pregnancy trauma. She specializes in Trauma, namely relationship violence, sexual assault and Birth and Pregnancy related trauma, including Post Partum Mood Disorders.
She believes in helping others become more empowered in their lives by becoming more mindful of our feelings, moods and behaviors and focusing on our thoughts, values and beliefs. Strengths-based approaches are used for all clients signifying her belief that everyone is an expert in their own life. All of Elizabeth's clinical interventions focus on the importance of self-care and empowerment.
Specialized therapies include The Daring Way™, visual art techniques, Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model (TREM), healthy sexuality / sex education, dream interpretation, and journaling with a cognitive-behavioral filter. Elizabeth also offers EMDR (Level II). LGBTQIA welcoming! Specializing in life transitions: puberty, menopause and parenting. Pregnancy/Fertility concerns including loss, infertility, high-risk pregnancy and post-partum depression.
