LCSW Supervision TIPS
-
Remember, Supervisees need a minimum of 4 hours of face-to-face time with their supervisor per month. Up to 2 hours of this can be in a group setting
-
It's very important to make sure you find a good fit with your LCSW Supervisor. After all, you'll be working together for a minimum of 2 years or up to 4 years (but it shouldn't take you that long to pass your exam...don't worry!)
-
If you haven't finished taking out student loans for your MSW program, you might want to consider borrowing the amount you expect to spend over the cost of your supervision for a low interest way to finance your professional development.
